Questions like these and many others ran across my plate all of the time during my 15 years with Campus Crusade for Christ. We live in a world of deep brokenness. If we are Christians, we know the ultimate answer for healing is Jesus. But how is that healing tangibly lived out in our lives and relationships? I desire to take my academic and professional counselor training, along with the gifts and passions God has given me to come alongside of campus ministry staff, students, and others in full-time ministry. I want to help them find freedom and for them to offer that same freedom to those they minister to each and every day.
I desire to spread the message of Jesus Christ in Philadelphia and around the world through Gospel-centered mentoring, discipleship counseling, and counseling training. My prayer is that college students, campus ministry staff, and people involved in full-time ministry would find deep healing. Like a bird released from its cage, they are freed to reach others from every nation with the Gospel. I am absolutely thrilled to be able to use my passions and gifts to further God's kingdom here on earth and for eternity. Just like when I ministered with Campus Crusade for Christ, I still long to help bring people to Christ, build them up in their faith, and send them out to reach others.
I am grateful to Global Service Network for allowing me to participate in the Associates in Ministry program. I will have oversight, direction, and input from the elders of my church (liberti Church Fairmount), as well as from Laurel Kehl, a former Campus Crusade for Christ teammate and seasoned discipleship counselor in ministry.
