theCanvas is a ministry to college/20somethings that seeks to experience holistic Truth in the way of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Through weekly gatherings, one-on-one discipleship, and community outreach we pursue becoming people who passionately follow Jesus. For more check out www.the-canvas.org
I am finding that more and more the students that find their way into theCanvas are those who truly want to wrestle with the BIG questions about life and God. They are not satisfied with status quo or easy answers. Some come from very ‘churched’ backgrounds and others from very anti-‘church’ backgrounds. This creates a beautiful opportunity to create a place where questions are engaged honestly and sincerely while always holding onto the Truth. I am constantly looking for more effective ways to invite students to engage with the questions and pursue Jesus with their whole lives.
I am always looking for more ministry partners who will financially support myself, and theCanvas, as we travel this road. Honestly, I am new at this and the ongoing need is simply the creative stamina to keep pushing the boundaries that my mind creates.
