Riley and Laurel Byers - Ministry with International Scholars - Univ. of Louisville

Riley and Laurel are engaging international students and scholars with the gospel at the University of Louisville. Their primary base of operations is Third Avenue Baptist Church where Riley serves as the Deacon of International Outreach. They are focused on evangelism, discipleship, missions, and training. Riley and Laurel are committed to sharing the gospel with international students and scholars at U of L, many of whom come from restricted access countries. Once one of the students is converted, they work with other Christians and churches to make sure the students are discipled and are growing in their Christian faith. Furthermore, Riley has organized and led several mission trips to East Asia where he assists existing church planting teams with evangelism and discipleship on university campuses. Finally, Laurel and Riley desire to help train university and seminary students who feel a call to cross cultural missions through their work at the University of Louisville and Third Avenue Baptist Church.
