Exchange USA is an opportunity for high school students to visit another country, experience its people, experience its culture, and experience its sights while influencing its people with the truth of the gospel. It is an exciting time filled with friends, fun, growth, and eternal significance.
This is a unique mission trip for high school students that enables them to connect their intellectual knowledge of global missions with a global ministry experience that can give them a vision and heart for the world.
Students spend two to three weeks immersed in the culture of a limited-access country as they take language and culture classes at our host schools. They also have the opportunity to expose the foreign students to American culture and language through teaching in their English classes or other gatherings.
The ultimate goal is to spend as much time as possible interacting with international peers outside of the classroom to build relationships and engage in spiritual conversations. The summer could result in developing a friendship that will last for eternity, not just a summer.
After a couple of weeks with our host school, Exchange USA ends with a few days to tour in the country, generally learning more about its history and people.
